Founded in 2024, Sembrando Ayni is rooted in over 20 years of living in Ecuador, one of the most biodiverse countries on Earth. Our foundation focuses on environmental conservation, holistic education, and community regeneration. We’re restoring natural ecosystems and empowering communities to live harmoniously with nature.
Our Projects Include:
🌱 Ayni Green School – Founded in 2020 in our hometown Olón, located in the province of Santa Elena, Ayni Green School is our pilot education project. A bilingual (Spanish-English) school, its academic approach is rooted in holistic learning and individual learning styles. Accredited through a U.S. school, we ensure students receive a globally recognized education. We emphasize hands-on, experiential learning, integrating environmental stewardship, sustainability, and the regeneration of natural ecosystems. By fostering personalized instruction and critical thinking, we help each student develop their language skills and academic strengths while connecting their learning to real-world applications.
🌱 Green Village – Complementary to our Green School, the Green Village will offer our community the opportunity to live sustainably. It is a self-sufficient model community utilizing bioconstruction, permaculture, regenerative agriculture, and green energy. The Green Village will serve as a living example of sustainable living, providing a place for residents to practice and experience eco-friendly lifestyles while contributing to the environment’s regeneration.
🌱 Forest Preservation & Culture Restoration – Partnering since 2018 with the indigenous Sapara people, protecting 400,000 hectares of Amazon rainforest, restoring their language and traditions with the younger generation, and developing a community-based tourism program as a healthy alternative to create international awareness and support.
